The goal of the OREA Centre for Leadership Development is to develop high quality, experienced trained leaders.

In 2006, the Ontario Real Estate Association embarked on an initiative to train its volunteer leaders throughout OREA's 42 real estate board and associations in Ontario, Canada.   Since then, the OREA Centre for Leadership Development has been successfully delivering leadership courses to OREA volunteer leaders.

The research also indicated that the desire for volunteer leadership training went beyond the real estate industry and that many associations and not-for-profit organizations of all industries and professions lacked the necessary skills to perform competently in their volunteer roles. Thus, a cycle of courses was created to assist volunteers in the not-for-profit sector.

Outstanding leaders go out of their way to boost the self-esteem of their personnel.  If people believe in themselves, it's amazing what they can accomplish.
