Course Description
The  real estate profession, as a result of provincial statutory requirements, makes it mandatory for all real estate salespeople and their brokers to participate in their respective provincial errors and omissions (E & O) insurance program. The purpose of this course is to:

• Understand terms used in errors and omissions insurance policies
• Describe how deductibles are applied and know their limits
• Understand the test for negligence or negligent misrepresentation
• Protect buyer and seller client’s interests by applying the standard of due care
• Outline the key reasons for claims being made against the insurance policies
• Implement personal key strategies to prevent claims from occurring
