Interprovincial Challenge Examination A Preparation Guide is provided by the College to assist individuals in reviewing course materials and identifying key province-specific topic matter. All rules and procedures including examination policies are detailed in the guide. Course Specific Examinations Currently, eligibility is restricted to mortgage brokers (registered in the Province of Ontario) and persons having completed selected courses in appraisal, commercial, and industrial fields. Procedure The Registrar makes all decisions regarding registration qualifications and educational requirements. The Registrar may secure input from the Credits Recommendation and Advisory Committee of the Council regarding applications under this program. The Committee reviews such applications and forwards recommendations to the Registrar. Eligibility is based on educational achievements and, where applicable, relevant experience. The Committee requires documentation in support of any application. The final decision regarding eligibility rests with the Registrar of Real Estate and Business Brokers. The Registrar is empowered to exercise such powers and duties as are conferred by the Real Estate and Business Brokers Act, including all matters involving educational requirements and registration.
