Exam Information
The Phase 1 three-hour examination consists of multiple choice questions reflecting workbook exercises,
assignments and required readings. Examinations for all courses subsequent to Phase 1 are of three hours’
duration and consist of essay-style questions similar to workbook exercises and assignments.
Examinations for self-directed students take place at College Examination Centres. Examinations for classroom students take
place on the last scheduled day of instruction. A student who does not write the scheduled examination will
be given a grade of “0” and the course transcript will reflect “fail”. Students who do not write the
scheduled examination or students who do not pass this exam will be given one final opportunity to write the
examination.
Effective January 1, 2008, all registration education course examinations are ‘CLOSED
BOOK’. This includes Pre-registration, Articling and Professional Real Estate Brokerage courses.

dependent upon the nature of the breach of examination procedures.
Students who fail to observe College
Program Standards and are found in violation of examination procedures will be subject to disciplinary
action which may include disqualification from College courses and examinations. No appeal is available for
