Once registered as a salesperson with RECO, the two-year articling segment begins. Salespeople must complete three additional courses to be eligible to renew their salesperson registration. The courses include Real Property Law, the remaining Residential Real Estate Transaction or Commercial Real Estate Transaction course, and one of the following elective courses:

If you choose to take an articling course before completing Real Estate as a Professional, Land, Structures and Real Estate Trading, and The Real Estate Transaction - General and either The Residential Real Estate Transaction or The Commercial Real Estate Transaction, and attaining Salesperson Registration, RECO will not recognize the credit unless you re-write the exam.
