Once registered as a salesperson with RECO, the two-year articling stage begins. Salespeople must complete three additional courses to be eligible to renew their salesperson registration. The courses include Real Property Law, the remaining Phase 3, and one of the following elective courses:

• Principles of Appraisal
• Real Estate Investment Analysis
• Principles of Mortgage Financing
• Principles of Property Management

Note:
If you choose to take an articling course before completing Phase 1, 2 and 3, and attaining Salesperson Registration, RECO will not recognize the credit unless you re-write the exam.
