Pauline Aunger, President-Elect
Toronto, February 29, 2008... Smiths Falls and Perth real estate broker Pauline Aunger was elected president-elect of the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) at its annual conference on February 27. In this capacity, she will represent the association’s members on the board of directors and the senior level executive committee. Active in the real estate profession for 30 years, Ms. Aunger is the broker of record with Royal LePage Pauline Aunger Real Estate, Brokerage. She is a member and past president of the Rideau St. Lawrence Real Estate Board where she served as chair of the political affairs committee and as a member of professional standards committee. She served OREA as a member of the government relations committee and quality of life task force, as a member of the board of governors of the OREA Foundation, and chair of the standard forms and legal resource committees, and has served on the OREA Board since 2005. Most recently, Ms. Aunger served as chair of the finance committee. The Ontario Real Estate Association represents 45,000 brokers and salespeople who are members of the 43 real estate boards throughout the province. Members of the association may use the “REALTOR®” trademark, which identifies them as real estate professionals who subscribe to a high standard of ethics and service. OREA serves REALTORS® through a wide variety of professional publications, educational programs, government lobbying and other services. A division of the association, the OREA Real Estate College, provides all real estate registration education courses in Ontario.
