Dreena Gilpin, Provincial Director

Toronto, February 29, 2008...Sudbury real estate salesperson Dreena Gilpin will continue in the role of provincial director of the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA), the association announced at its annual conference on February 27.

In this capacity, she will represent the Northern Ontario area consisting of the North Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Thunder Bay and Timmins real estate boards on the OREA board of directors.

Active in the real estate profession for 19 years, Ms. Gilpin is a salesperson with RE/MAX Crown Realty Inc., Brokerage. She is a member and past president of the Sudbury Real Estate Board where she served as chair of the education, finance and professional standards committees. Ms. Gilpin has served on the OREA Board since 2005 and has served OREA as a member of the legal resource and board and member service committees and most recently served as chair of the standard forms committee.

The Ontario Real Estate Association represents 45,000 brokers and salespeople who are members of the 43 real estate boards throughout the province. Members of the association may use the “REALTOR^®” trademark, which identifies them as real estate professionals who subscribe to a high standard of ethics and service.

OREA serves REALTORS^® through a wide variety of professional publications, educational programs, government lobbying and other services. A division of the association, the OREA Real Estate College, provides all real estate registration education courses in Ontario.
