Sue Tallen, Provincial Director

Toronto, February 29, 2008... Kingston broker Sue Tallen will continue in the role of provincial director of the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA), the association announced at its annual conference on February 27.

In this capacity, she will represent the Eastern Ontario area consisting of the Cornwall, Kingston, Ottawa, Renfrew and Rideau-St. Lawrence real estate boards on the OREA board of directors.

Active in the real estate profession for 22 years, Ms. Tallen is a broker with Royal LePage ProAlliance Realty, Brokerage.  She is a member and past president of the Kingston and Area Real Estate Association where she served as chair of the arbitration, bylaws, finance, and nominating committees and the MLS technology task force. Ms. Tallen has served on OREA’s finance/audit and legal resource committee and has served on the OREA Board since 2007.

The Ontario Real Estate Association represents 45,000 brokers and salespeople who are members of the 43 real estate boards throughout the province. Members of the association may use the “REALTOR^®” trademark, which identifies them as real estate professionals who subscribe to a high standard of ethics and service.

OREA serves REALTORS^® through a wide variety of professional publications, educational programs, government lobbying and other services. A division of the association, the OREA Real Estate College, provides all real estate registration education courses in Ontario.
