  • Is OREA office open to students and members?
    • The OREA office at 99 Duncan Mill Road is now closed to all students and external visitors until further notice.
  • How can I get updates from OREA about COVID-19 related issues?
    • If you unsubscribed from all electronic communications from OREA in the past, please contact OREA Customer Service Centre at 1-866-411-6732 to resubscribe. Otherwise, please log into www.orea.com and go to My Portfolio>>Manage Subscriptions to update your communication preferences.
  • Have exams been cancelled?
    • In light of recent announcements by government and public health officials, OREA will not be resuming its normal in-person exam schedule on April 4th as originally planned. In-person exams cannot begin again until it has been deemed safe to do so. The health and wellbeing of our students, our employees and our communities is our priority. Updates will be posted on the OREA website as the situation develops, so please check regularly.
  • Will the deadline of November 28, 2020 be extended because of the COVID-19 situation?
    • There are no plans to extend this deadline. The OREA Real Estate College will be closing at the end of the year, and November 28 remains the last day that exams will be offered. When the COVID-19 situation stabilizes and we are able to resume examinations, we will do so to the fullest extent possible. As always, though, exam venues fill up quicky and well in advance.
  • My classroom course was cancelled. Will there be another one in my area soon?
    • The College will offer additional classroom course sessions when we can, to meet demand. Self-study options are always available, and students whose classroom courses were interrupted may transfer to a self-study alternative at no charge.
  • My exam has been cancelled. How can I reschedule to a new date?
    • Students whose exam has been cancelled may reschedule at their convenience from within their My Portfolio account if their existing date is in the future. As a temporary measure, we have removed the rescheduling fee. Students who need assistance rescheduling may contact the College at 1-866-411-6732 Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • My RECO registration deadline is coming up soon. Since exams have been suspended, how can I renew my registration?
    • Registrants who are not able to complete the courses required for their registration renewal due to the COVID-19 crisis will be permitted to submit their RECO renewal application on an interim basis. The renewal must be submitted through MyWeb on or before the registration expiry date.
    • Until they have been given the opportunity to complete the required courses, the application will be held as “pending” and they will be permitted to continue trading. Registrants may confirm their registration status by logging in to their RECO MyWeb account.
