Deadline for Admissions

  • Admissions documents for The Salesperson Registration Education Program must be received by the OREA Real Estate College no later than April 30, 2019
  • The Admissions Test (if applicable) must be successfully completed on or before April 30, 2019
  • Admissions to The Broker Registration Education Program will not be accepted after April 30, 2019
  • No exceptions or extensions will be permitted

Deadline to complete Programs

  • All course requirements for The Salesperson Registration Education Program and The Broker Registration Education Program must be completed on or before November 28, 2020. This includes examinations and examination rewrites (if applicable)
  • No exceptions or extensions will be permitted
  • NOTE: RECO will accept the articling course completed before or after registration as a salesperson

The OREA Real Estate College will cease to operate on December 31, 2020

Mr. Cardarelli is a Broker of Record with National Realty Centre Inc., Brokerage in Mississauga. He is also a member of the Mississauga Real Estate Board (MREB), Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB), and a Past President of MREB.

Chair, REBBA Review Taskforce

John Meehan is the Chair of OREA’s 2017 REBBA Review Taskforce. In that role, he is overseeing OREA’s REBBA Review consultation process and taskforce’s work on the issue. John is owner and broker of record with RE/MAX Unique Inc. Brokerage in Toronto. He is a Past-President of the Toronto Real Estate Board (TREB) where he previously served as a Director. He has served as a member and Chair of several TREB committees and task forces.

OREA Vice President of Public Affairs & Communications

Matthew Thornton assumed the role of Vice President of Public Affairs & Communications at OREA earlier this year. Before that, he spent 4 years as Director of Government Relations. In that role, he led the Association to a number of high-profile government relations wins including OREA’s successful campaign to stop the spread of the municipal land transfer tax and doubling the land transfer tax relief.
