How to Apply

Apply to OREA Real Estate College in just four easy steps. But first, if you haven’t already done so, please review the Admission Requirements.

When you’re ready, Apply Online with our easy-to-use web form, or follow the steps outlined below.

Step 1: Set up a student file

Contact our Customer Service Department and a representative will create a student file for you and give you an application ID. Use this application ID when you submit your document(s) for admission.

Step 2: Submit your documents or write the OREA Admissions Test

Submit your documents, including your application ID in a clear and readable format, in one of the following ways:

  • Email to admissions@orea.com
  • Fax to the Admissions Department at (416) 445-9728
  • Regular mail or in person:

If you were educated outside Canada or the U.S., have your documents assessed by a recognized academic credential assessment service, such as the World Education Service, before you submit your application. Include this report with your application materials.

If you don’t have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, and you’re at least 18 years old, you can schedule the OREA Real Estate College Admissions Test when you speak with a customer service representative.

Step 3: Accept the Student Enrolment Contract

After your documents have been processed and accepted,or you pass the Admissions Test, you’ll receive an email welcoming you to the college. This email will include your OREA student ID and instructions on how to log in to your personal and confidential My Portfolio account.

When you log in, you’ll be presented with the student enrolment contract, which will provide you with a detailed breakdown of all aspects of the program. To protect your interests, please review the contract carefully and complete it.

Step 4: Enrol in the first course

Once you have reviewed and accepted the contract, you may enrol in the first course of the Salesperson Registration Education Program, Real Estate as a Professional Career, in one of the following ways:

  • Login to your My Portfolio account and click the Enrol in a Course button
  • Find your desired course session in the Course Calendar and enrol from there
