Assess your skills with virtual technology

Most top performing REALTORS will tell you that to succeed in the business of real estate you need to know yourself well and be constantly improving your skills.

Most top performing REALTORS will tell you that to succeed in the business of real estate you need to know yourself well and be constantly improving your skills. Wouldn't it be nice to have an objective outsider evaluate your strengths and weaknesses in the area of real estate sales and provide you with constructive feedback and advice?

A new online real estate skills assessment tool can do just that. The Real Estate Simulator®, designed by Upward Motion, uses simulation technology to recreate real-life business challenges encountered by REALTORS on a daily basis. While the Real Estate Simulator is a great recruiting and training tool for brokers, it can also help REALTORS to improve their performance. And, it can all be done in the privacy of your home or office on your computer.

How it works
The person being assessed plays the role of a real estate agent and must interact with virtual clients who are interested in buying or selling property.

The "real estate agent" is taken through the entire sales cycle from building rapport to closing and must demonstrate their ability to handle objections, negotiate price, understand client needs, deal with personality clashes, and even handle periodic rejection.

The Real Estate Simulator® then evaluates selling skills, intelligence, and personality to provide comprehensive information about a person's strengths and weaknesses in real estate sales.

The assessment can help a REALTOR learn how to overcome weaknesses and how to target problem areas. The information can also help you to:
- Know how to leverage your strengths
- Focus your training to get more immediate results
- Develop a personal strategic plan for improvement
- Make better informed decisions regarding your career
- Get the insight you need to improve your sales
