Motorcycle ride supports charity

Motorcycle riders braved extreme heat this past July to participate in the Motorcycle Ride for Charity that left from the Ontario Real Estate Association’s Don Mills headquarters. The determined riders travelled from Toronto to Niagara Falls on July 4 for the ride organized by the REALTORS Care Foundation following a kick-off breakfast. Ron Abraham, OREA president, and Bob Kinnear, assistant director, curriculum at the OREA Real Estate College, were among more than 30 riders who made the journey. Pledges to date total about $25,500. REALTOR® Bruce King of Burlington won the grand prize at the riders’ raffle, an overnight stay at Toronto’s Westin Prince Hotel. All proceeds from the ride go toward the foundation, which supports shelter-related organizations in communities across Ontario.
