A new and better website at OREA

After months of hard work behind the scene, OREA publicly launched a revitalized website. If you visit www.orea.com, you will notice immediately that changes have been made to serve you, OREA’s customers, better and faster, and to help you find what you need, when you need it. The site receives about 140,000 visits per month.

Among the many improved features, you will see that we have made it much easier and faster for you to find the information you want. Users can identify themselves as members, students or prospective students by clicking in the blue box on the left. Or they can choose one of the College Quick Links on the right, which includes a direct “Enrol Now” button.

The new site will also make greater use of video as well as providing direct links to our social media initiatives. Members and students can login or go to My Portfolio from the top of any page.

The revised version represents a tremendous advancement over its predecessor, says Tom Lebour, a Mississauga REALTOR®, OREA Central Area director and chair of the communication committee. He notes that the association will continually be refining this site as it receives feedback from users, and that the process was supported by previous and current volunteers on the committee.

“We welcome suggestions and observations,” adds Lebour. “The new website is the culmination of a tremendous amount of work by staff from all departments of the association. It has truly been a team effort and we congratulate everyone on the results of their efforts. Please let us know what you think of our new website – what we’ve done right, and what can be further improved. Ongoing improvements will be taking place over the next few months and we look forward to hearing from you, our members.”

Some highlights of the revised site are as follows:

  • Easy-to-use navigation
  • Faster site performance – no more waiting around for web pages to load
  • Use the Enrol Now button to register for OREA Real Estate College courses
  • Log in to My Portfolio from anywhere on the site
  • New look for popular features such as OREApedia, Legal Forum and OREA standard forms. (Member login is required to access these benefits.)
