OREA mourns Past President Johnson

The Ontario Real Estate Association is sad to report the passing of 1978 President Arthur F. Johnson, 72, in Guelph, in May.

The Ontario Real Estate Association is sad to report the passing of 1978 President Arthur F. Johnson, 72, in Guelph, in May.
 
In addition to serving as OREA President and serving on several OREA committees, Johnson served the profession as president of the Brampton Real Estate Board in 1971, and served on the board of directors and several committees of the Canadian Real Estate Association.
 
Working in both commercial and residential real estate, he opened Arthur F. Johnson & Associates Ltd., Realtor in 1982, where he remained active in the Brampton-Georgetown markets until his retirement in 1999.
 
Johnson was a graduate from the Ontario Agricultural College, and held the Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Canada (FRI) designation.
