Call volume up over last year

The volume of phone calls into the Customer Service Centre at OREA is up about 11 per cent over the same quarter last year, according to recent figures.

An average of 1,100 calls come in every day, with Mondays bringing in the highest call volume at about 1,300 calls on average at the start of the work week. In 2011, the centre received about 216,000 calls from students and members across the province. The goal of the centre is to provide excellent service to all OREA members and students as they fulfill their educational objectives.
