Market Watch: Businesses rely more on mobile technology

The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) has launched a call to action to REALTORS® to urge the government to index the Home Buyers’ Plan (HBP) to inflation.

More than half of Canadian employees (57 per cent) are now relying on mobile technology such as a smart phone or tablet to do their jobs effectively, a new survey reveals. The BMO Financial Group survey conducted by Pollara also revealed that Canadian business owners are personally becoming more reliant on mobile technology, with two-thirds (64 per cent) reporting that they use mobile technology to run their organization, with 30 per cent of decision-makers saying they could not do their jobs without their mobile device.
