Two exciting new animated videos created by the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) reveal the results of surveys of consumers in the province.

Both of the short, colourful videos have been posted to Facebook and YouTube and conclude with the importance of working with a REALTOR®.

The first video summarizes research survey results about the importance consumers place on getting market value when selling their home. “Getting value for your home” has been posted to Facebook and has been viewed more than 40,700 times. It was posted in January.

In this video, consumers were asked to rank the importance of getting value for their home against other priorities such as saving for their children’s education and the purchase of stocks and bonds.

The second video is called “What do men and women think?” Released in time for Valentine’s Day, it compares and contrasts the viewpoints of male and female consumers with important life milestones. The survey respondents were asked about issues such as getting married, having a family and owning a home. You can learn more about the gender divide by watching this video. It was posted in mid-February and has been viewed almost 47,000 times.

Both videos can be found on OREA’s YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/oreainfo as well as on www.wedothehomework.ca.
