This year’s Motorcycle Ride for Charity was a great success, raising funds for a good cause. The 11th annual ride took place on July 6 and was organized by the Ontario REALTORS Care® Foundation, which supports shelter-based charities across the province. More than 30 riders took part in the ride from the Newmarket office of the Toronto Real Estate Board to Sudbury, with stops along the way at various real estate board offices, including: The Barrie and District Association of REALTORS®; Muskoka, Haliburton, Orillia – The Lakelands Association of REALTORS®; and the North Bay Real Estate Board. This ride demonstrates the commitment of Realtors to give back to their communities by supporting a good cause. So far, approximately $21,000 in pledges have come in. For more details or to make a donation, visit the Ride page at www.realtorscareontario.ca.
I wouldn’t have become president of OREA if it wasn’t for the top-notch training developed by OREA’s Centre for Leadership Development.

Stigmatized properties present a special challenge in real estate, and REALTORS® should be aware of their disclosure obligations.
An exciting new advertising campaign that promotes the value of using a REALTOR® to consumers was launched by the Ontario Real Estate Association.
If you want to expand your knowledge of commercial real estate, come to one of two events organized as part of OREA’s fall Emerge lineup.
